Our Research

The AgResearch and Education Center at Milan is considered a leader in the no-till technology movement. Each year our research saves millions of tons of Tennessee soil from erosion. Soil erosion is not only devastating to farms, but it also contaminates our drinking water supply and damages wildlife habitat. Through research, we combat soil erosion by continually improving no-till’s ecological benefits.

Our ongoing research focuses on the main commodity crops grown in West Tennessee: corn, cotton, soybean, and wheat. We also incorporate precision agriculture technologies into our research programs. Please click the pictures below to learn more about our ongoing and past research.
