Corn Research

Corn is the second-leading row crop in Tennessee, both in planted acres and production value. State-wide, corn is grown on approximately 700,000 acres, and has a production value of over $440 million. Common products made from corn include ethanol, livestock feed, and pet food.

Each year in Milan we conduct over 20 different corn experiments that include varietal testing, nutrient management, and weed control.
